Business Development Manger

The position:

My client is looking for an experienced BDM to cover London and the Home Counties. You will be focused on developing new business as well as reengaging with dormant accounts.

Key responsibilities:

• To build relationships with customers who's accounts have become dormant
• To Identify and onboard new accounts
• To take ownership of orders won, acting as an ambassador for the company
• Build relationships with the technical department to ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner

Skills and experience required:

• Prior experience in a sales position with a proven track record in generating new business
• An understanding of the machinery hire sector is desirable but not essential. My client is more concerned with finding the right personality and fit for the company
• Ability to negotiate and build strong B2B relationships
• Customer service and relationship building in a B2B capacity has to be your passion
