Field Service Engineer

We’re working with a leading construction equipment dealer who is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Cumbria. In this role, you’ll be carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy plant equipment, ensuring machinery is kept in top condition and downtime is minimised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, breakdowns, warranty, and damage repairs

• Site visits across the region to support customers

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools/software

• Accurately record all work carried out on iPad/laptop

• Maintain company vehicle and specialist tools

What You’ll Need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)

• Proven background working on heavy plant machinery

• Good knowledge of diagnostics and repair techniques

• CSCS card (advantageous)

• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• £15–£18 per hour + overtime (x1.5 after 40 hrs, x2 between midnight–5am)
