Field Service Engineer - Crusher / Screeners

Job Summary - West Midlands region (pay is from door to door, 50 hour week basic + Overtime)

I am representing one of the UK largest independent supplier of plant and machinery to the construction, demolition, ports, timber, scrap and recycling sectors. I am keen to speak with experienced Field Services Engineers / Fitters looking for a position covering the South coast / South East. Candidates with experience working on large Crushers and Screeners are of particular interest.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to our clients on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Main Responsibilities:

Experienced field service engineer covering the below on various equipment which includes large crushers and screeners.

• Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
• Warranty repairs.
• Damage repairs.
• Site visits across various areas of the country
• Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad

Additional Responsibilities:

• Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects
• Good communication with customers and other staff

Work experience requirements:

• Strong background in Plant industry essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
• CSCS card holder is preferred
• Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Preferred dealer experience but not essential
• Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.
