Plant Fitter

We’re working with a leading name in the construction hire sector to recruit a skilled and reliable Plant Fitter to join their busy depot team in North London. If you have experience maintaining and repairing construction machinery and are looking for a stable, long-term role with great benefits - this could be the perfect fit.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of plant machinery, including:

• Excavators

• Dumpers

• Rollers

• Telehandlers

While the role is primarily depot-based, occasional site visits may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant equipment

• Accurately complete maintenance records and reports

• Liaise with customers when needed, maintaining high service standards

• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working on construction plant and machinery

• NVQ in plant maintenance or equivalent (preferred)

• Solid knowledge of diesel, electric, and hydraulic systems

• Analytical and methodical approach to diagnostics and repairs

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Full UK driving licence

• Right to work in the UK
