Yard Operative

The company supplies a modern fleet of plant machinery to major projects across the UK and prides itself on service, safety, and creating a positive workplace for its employees.

Role Overview

You’ll be an important part of the depot operations team, ensuring machinery is well-maintained and the yard is kept in excellent condition. Typical duties include:

• Cleaning and jet-washing plant equipment before it’s sent out to customers

• Keeping the yard area safe, tidy, and compliant with standards

• Making sure machines and vehicles are parked and stored properly

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work on your own initiative

• Good communication skills with a practical, can-do approach

• Previous experience in a similar yard or plant hire role would be useful, though not essential as training will be provided
