About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established machinery dealership that is looking to expand its engineering team with an experienced Field Service Engineer specialising in crushers and screeners.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working in the field, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of crushing and screening equipment. You’ll be joining a supportive business that values technical expertise and offers flexibility for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair crushers, screeners and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Carry out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
- Travel to customer sites to carry out field-based repairs and servicing.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar.
- Proven experience working on crushers and screeners is essential.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A proactive, customer-focused attitude.
What’s on Offer:
- £22.00 – £23.00 per hour (flexibility for the right candidate depending on experience).
- Door-to-door pay.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday to Friday.
- Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x until 12:00, then 2x after 12:00.
- Sunday overtime paid at 2x.
