Class 2 Driver

We’re working with a respected and well-established hire company based in North London to recruit a Class 2 Driver. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver to join a team that values safety, service, and teamwork.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting plant and equipment across the M25 and surrounding areas. You’ll work closely with the transport and depot teams to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect plant equipment securely and on time

• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects

• Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy

• Plan delivery routes in conjunction with the transport office

• Complete paperwork and digital records accurately

• Ensure all equipment is safely loaded/unloaded using appropriate methods

• Uphold high standards of Health & Safety

• Represent the company professionally on-site and with customers

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C (Class 2)

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Experience delivering construction plant or similar equipment (preferred)

• Good understanding of safe loading and unloading practices

• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety

• Excellent time management and communication skills

• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
