Field Service Engineer

We’re working with a leading plant and construction equipment dealer to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer covering the South East. You’ll carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy plant machinery at customer sites, ensuring downtime is minimised and machines operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance, breakdowns, warranty, and damage repairs

• Travel to customer sites across the South East region

• Diagnose machinery faults using modern tools and software

• Record work accurately on iPad/laptop

• Maintain company van, tools, and equipment

What You’ll Need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)

• Proven experience with heavy plant machinery

• CSCS card preferred

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills

• UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

• Excellent communication skills

What’s on Offer:

• £16–£18/hr + overtime (x1.5 after 40 hrs, x2 midnight–5am)
