About the Role

We’re working with a leading hire company based in North London to find an experienced Flatbed Transit Driver to join their depot team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong driving experience and a proactive approach to customer service, looking to join a well-established and supportive business.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting small tools, compressors, and trailer-mounted plant equipment across London and surrounding areas. The role is depot-based with regular travel within the M25.

Key Responsibilities

Load, deliver, and collect hire equipment safely and efficiently
Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness
Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times
Plan delivery routes with the office team to maximise efficiency
Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain high levels of customer service
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

What We’re Looking For

Full UK driving licence with towing entitlement
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Experience working with plant or tool hire equipment (advantageous)
Forklift licence (a bonus, but not essential)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive, positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
